The important physical example of building a tower from a square to a polygon has important historical value. The Erling Tower is both a stupa and a landscape sign. The stone carved statues on all sides of the tower are of a high level of craftsmanship and have high artistic value. Erling Tower has simple and beautiful architectural style, well-proportioned structure and reasonable structural force. It is an important physical basis for studying the stone structure of the Song Dynasty in the south of the Yangtze River and has certain scientific value.
