There is a “freakish” building at the entrance of Qijiang Village in Qijiang Town. This building built on the mountain is the museum of the mountain art that will be opened soon. The museum has a planned building area of more than 16,000 square meters. It is based on the traditional Chinese stone carving stone art. Through multimedia, pictures and physical exhibitions, it displays the representative works of Buddhist stone carvings from the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing Dynasties since the Northern and Southern Dynasties. The stone carving works of the Southern Song Dynasty tombs, as well as some other stone carving works, showcase the Chinese stone carving stone art in a systematic collection, especially the artistic charm and historical value of Buddha statues. The museum is equipped with facilities including library, reading room, archives, conference hall, academic lecture hall, supporting services, etc., and is integrated with the Buddhist Art and Culture Research Institute, the Mountain Culture Forum, the Conference Center, the Service Center, and the Museum Cultural Courtyard. Research support, public appreciation education, leisure tourism, business services and other aspects of the formation of a cultural and leisure industry with stone carving culture as the main body. The head of the Mountain Art Museum told reporters: "The Mountain Art Museum is not as grand as the Ningbo Museum, but it is beautifully shaped and fully functional, and can adapt to the display of different art."
