More than 50 revolutionary sites in Beilun District were repaired and protected 2013-07-23

 

The revolutionary ruins carry the great spirit of the revolutionary ancestors who loved their homes and patriotism, not afraid of sacrifice, and self-improvement. Recently, the reporter learned from the Party History Office of the District Party Committee that since 2008, the district has detected more than 50 revolutionary sites and more than 40 other sites, and has successively implemented measures for restoration, protection and utilization. According to statistics, our district has invested more than 7 million yuan to repair, protect and utilize revolutionary sites. At present, eight important sites have been awarded provincial and city party history education bases. Among them, there are 6 sites listed as Ningbo Party History Education Base, namely Beilun Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall, Weidou Primary School (Yujiashan), Daijiatun Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery (Baifeng), Daxie Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery, Zhang Ren Ya Tomb (including the former residence, life story exhibition hall) (Xiapu), Hu Jiaoqin Martyrs Memorial Pavilion (Chaiqiao); two sites are listed as Zhejiang Party History Education Base, respectively, Beilun Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall, Weidou Primary School Site (戚家山). There are still several revolutionary sites in the expansion and repair.
