Old photo collections bring back memories of those days: those people those things 2014-01-26

Ningbo's two photographers, Yu Defu (below) and Pan Xingzheng (upper), who provided the old photos in this article. During the period of the reporter Hu Long’s photocall, the Ningbo Museum is collecting old photos from the public to organize a large-scale photo exhibition of “Back to the City”. At present, nearly 200 old photos have been collected, the earliest of which was shot in the 1930s, and the most recent one was taken at the beginning of this century. Most of them were taken in the 1970s and 1980s. . From this old photo, we can clearly feel the passage of time and the changes of the city: this is the Rongguang salon, which used to represent a fashion and trend; this is the new river head dock, which was once busy This is the time to catch wild big yellow croaker in the East China Sea. It is a thousand kilograms on the Internet... such a picture, each picture can recall memories and tell stories! A lot of scenery, a lot of things, a lot of things, inevitably have to go with the time, and those precious images that record the old days are historical aspects, witnesses of the times, it seems to build a time for us. Tunnel, let's return to the year. The sour and bitterness of the year, now recalling, or excited, or sad, or warm, more, is the power to give us forward! The Pontoon Bridge of Jiangxia Bridge in 1981 was once popular over Lingqiao. In 1981, the Jiangxia Bridge pontoon was moved to the location of Jiangxia Bridge, becoming the most prosperous Zhongshan East Road and Jiangdong Dahe Road. The link between the extension of the Central Shandong Road). That year, the bustling scene of people coming and going on the bridge made the senior photographer of Ningbo, Yu Defu, unable to control the shutter, so there was a photo of the pontoon that was full of people in front of him (Figure 6). Yu Defu said: "This pontoon has been in existence for a long time. It was originally the Xinjiang Bridge pontoon. It was later placed in the position of the liberation bridge. When the liberation bridge was built, it was moved to the position of the current Jiangxia Bridge. It can be said that it has been With the development of Ningbo's urban construction, it plays the 'remaining heat'.” This pontoon stayed at the location of Jiangxia Bridge for 10 years. In addition to Lingqiao, in the early 1980s, only the Jiangxia Bridge pontoon was connected across the Fenghua River to connect Haitang and Jiangdong. Until 1990, the new Jiangxia Bridge was completed. In Yu Defu’s memory, the Jiangxia Bridge pontoon at that time was more popular than Lingqiao. "This is for objective reasons: the west bank of the bridge is the Zhongshan Road with the reputation of 'Zhedong First Street'; the east bank of the bridge, now the northeastern road of the river, concentrates the steel factory, the rubber factory, the Hefeng yarn factory, the ship The factory is the main industrial base of Ningbo. The pontoon is the only way for office workers to travel to Haitang and Jiangdong every day. At the peak of the commute, everyone has to walk for 5 minutes.” Yu Defu, who lives in Jiangdong, is one of the former. Member, I have a deep understanding of this. Not only that, but the East Railway Station, the shipping dock, and the granary were also distributed on the Dahe Road. There were countless people coming and going. It can be said that the Jiangxia Bridge pontoon is connected to the central axis of Ningbo. Because it is a pontoon with wooden boats, the Sanjiangkou is directly connected to the sea, so whenever the tide rises and falls, the pontoon will also rise and fall. At high tide, the pontoon rises high, and the middle will arch upwards. At this time, the pedestrians are on the bridge and down the mountain, just like going down the mountain. The bridge deck of the pontoon is paved by a piece of bridge deck. There is a gap between the bridge decks with two or three fingers wide. Through the gap, the river flowing eastward can be seen. This will make many children feel both novel and scared. On the bridge, they can often see the children holding the big hands tightly. They walked carefully and quickly across the bridge. It seems that they accidentally fell off the river from the gap. . The most unusual thing is that every morning, the pontoon will temporarily become a "broken bridge", allowing the big ship to pass through. Because the pontoon is not like a fixed bridge of reinforced concrete, the bridge can be made very high; the pontoon is floating on the water by the ship, the height of the bridge can only be as high as the hull exposed on the water, and the big ship can't pass. "They will untie the chains of several of them, pull them out from the pontoon, and let them out, so that the big ships can pass," said Yu Defu. Whenever this happens, people who want to cross the bridge will have to wait. From the unloading chain, the floating boat, the ship to the bridge, the whole process often takes more than half an hour. Nowadays, there are a variety of beautiful bridges on the river surface of Ningbo. With the undulating pontoon of the river, it can no longer be seen. It only remains in the memory of a generation of Ningbo people.
