This year's competition emphasizes the international character while highlighting the musical characteristics of China. Ten popular Chinese art songs will continue to be the competition. In addition, this year, we have specially added two Chinese opera arias. The competition is based on the principles of authority, impartiality and internationality. It is judged by 13 artists who have outstanding achievements in international vocal teaching and stage performances. The organizing committee will also hold a series of vocal music popularization and publicity activities, such as holding award-winning awards evenings, recruiting volunteer families, organizing artists to enter campus, holding vocal lectures and post-match tour activities. Founded in 2000, the China International Vocal Competition is one of the three major international music events hosted by the Ministry of Culture. It is held every three years and has been established in Ningbo since the third.
