Li Xiaojie, director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, inspected Baoguo Temple Ancient Architecture Museum 2013-04-24

 

On April 22, the Vice Minister of Culture and the Director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Li Xiaojie, and other officials visited the Baoguosi Ancient Architecture Museum accompanied by leaders from the Provincial Department of Culture, the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, and the Municipal Culture, Radio, Film and Television Press and Publication Bureau. Director Li Xiaojie first inspected the theme exhibition of “A Thousand Years Old Ancient Jiangnan” and the Ancient Construction Science and Technology Protection Monitoring Exhibition Hall. He listened in detail to Yu Rulong, the director of Baoguosi Ancient Architecture Museum, about the cultural value, protection management and Millennium of Baoguo Temple. Work reports such as commemorative activities, and carefully check the display of exhibits. Director Li Xiaojie fully affirmed the work done by the Baoguosi Ancient Architecture Museum in all aspects of cultural relics protection display. He pointed out that Baoguo Temple, as the first batch of key cultural relics protection units in China, is a classic example of the traditional architectural culture of Tang and Song Dynasties in China, and an important heritage of Ningbo's historical and cultural city. It has been highly valued by the Ningbo Municipal Government, and its protection concept and cultural relics. It is worthy of recognition that the State Administration of Cultural Heritage will continue to support the cultural work of Baoguo Temple. He demanded that Baoguo Temple should seize the historical opportunity of the Great Hall to rebuild the millennium, continue to adhere to the correct protection and utilization of development ideas, make full use of rich and precious natural and human resources, and further improve the cultural heritage protection and inheritance under the new situation, for urban culture.
