Ningbo Library was awarded the advanced unit of Zhejiang ancient books census 2013-05-08

 

Recently, the Ningbo Library was awarded the “Advanced Unit of Ancient Census of Zhejiang Province” by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture. The staff of the library, Gan Yiling, was named “Advanced Individual of Census of Ancient Books in Zhejiang Province”. The census of ancient books is the most important basic work in the protection plan of ancient Chinese books. It has many registration items, high requirements, large time span and wide coverage. It is the most important literature investigation work in China's history. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the ancient library census project of Ningbo Library, the city library officially started the census of ancient books in May 2012. Through the efforts of all staff members of the local library reading room of the museum, as of the end of April 2013, the ancient books have been completed. More than 400 censuses were collected, of which more than 300 were passed by the Provincial Ancient Books Protection Center. At the same time, in order to better protect the ancient books of the museum and improve the storage environment of the ancient books of the museum, the Ningbo Library improved the ancient books in 2012, and added automatic fire extinguishing devices, temperature and humidity monitors and other related equipment.
