When it comes to Ningbo, the first thing I think of is Tianyi Pavilion. Now when I come to Ningbo, the first thing I visit is naturally Tianyi Pavilion.
Tianyi Pavilion is located in the north section of Changchun Road in the center of Ningbo. The name "Changchun" is really appropriate, because when we went north by the bus from the south bank of Yuehu, east of Ningbo Railway Station, in the afternoon of August 23 (October 5th, the Western calendar), we saw The four-lane wide street is densely lined with tall camphor trees on both sides. Its branches and leaves are volleyed in a volley, like umbrellas. At this mid-autumn season, a pleasing green promenade is still formed. It is indeed spring for many years.
Tianyi Pavilion is hidden in an alley on the east side of this green promenade. Not too far along the alley, the gates of Tianyi Pavilion with black tiles and towering columns appear in front of the eyes. The couplets in black and white on the pillars on both sides of the door are very eye-catching. I admired for a while but couldn't fully recognize them. After reading the data, I learned that the couplet's origin is long, and Nan Lei's deep hiding is particularly difficult. The upper and lower couplets are easy to understand, while the second couplet is used in the Ming and Qing beginner Huang Zongxi (No. Nan Lei) 's "Tianyi Pavilion Collection Secretary" "It is difficult to read, especially hard to keep books. The sentence praises the tribute to the preservation of cultural classics in the Tianyi Pavilion Library. The style of the couplet is inscription (also known as Zhong Dingwen), which belongs to the pre-Qin dynasty. It looks simple and heavy, and has a strong atmosphere, but it also fits the atmosphere of this ancient Tibetan place.
The entire area of Tianyi Pavilion consists of large or small courtyards and gardens. The first entrance to the gate is Fan's former residence, which is the place where Fan's descendants live and live. Among them, the study tables and tables are full, and the book shelves are indeed a good place to read and raise your heart. There is a statue in the courtyard, which is Fan Qin, the founder of Tianyi Pavilion Library. Fan Qin lived nearly five hundred years ago during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. He was an official for nearly thirty years. His last position was the right minister of the Ministry of Defense, which is equivalent to the second Deputy Minister of National Defense. This should be considered a military post. Since the Sui and Tang dynasties, China has implemented the imperial examinations to select officials. In the peaceful era, high-level military positions and civilian positions were often formed. This is the progress of social civilization. Later, it was borrowed from the West to "cottage" to develop "civilian system" and advertised it as "advanced system" "made of. Literati such as Fan Qin, who martial arts deserves official attention, is famous for his literary affairs, and it is a good story of Chinese civilization. Looking at the statue, it should be the appearance of Mr. Fan in his old age, the Eguan thick robe, the scroll in his hand, and the gentle quality. Qi An sits and looks at the front freely, seems to rest a little while reading, or feels touched by the content of the book, or is it looking back at the hardships and joys of love, reading, searching and collecting books all his life?
To the south, through Sima Di, the former residence of Fan Qin, there was a curved pool of water in front of me, but I saw a red carp in the water. This is the South Garden. To the south of it there is the Shuibei Pavilion and to the east is the Jingjing Hall. It was originally a well-known library building in Ningbo City. It is now relocated to protect it and bring together cultural relics, also known as good deeds. The first room of Baojing Hall specially broadcasts a documentary about the history of Tianyi Pavilion's library. It recounts the vicissitudes of literature and flourishes, but it is now revived. The collection has grown to more than 300,000 volumes.
Walking through a round door on the east porch beside Baojing Hall, there was another cavernous sky: in front of it was a plump green lake, surrounded by green trees, covering the pavilion, the eaves staggered, and the winding path forming a quiet and elegant Garden. This is the East Garden. It is said that it was built by Fan Qinwen, the great-grandson of Fan Qin during the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty. It is also said that it was a post-liberation add-on. Its style is different from Suzhou gardens, or it can be one of the representatives of private gardens in eastern Zhejiang. .
From the East Garden to the north, enter another courtyard, which contains a two-story modern building, which is a library, which is the actual library of Tianyi Pavilion. Here, of course, the latest technologies such as fire prevention, anti-theft, insect control, dehumidification, and constant temperature are readily available. We can only look at the large bookcases in wood color outside the sealed large glass. However, several of the bookcases were opened, displaying ancient books, manuscripts, documents, and other ancient books.
Finally, we came to a small courtyard between the former residence of the Fan family and the South Garden and the East Garden. It is located in the center of the Tianyi Pavilion Park. The main building is marked on the guide map as "Treasure House" Qin and his descendants devoted their lives to building and maintaining the Tianyi Pavilion library. The library building sits north to south, and it is a two-storey building on the top of the hard eaves. The wooden structure of the wall gallery and the black tile ridges are thick and solemn. When he looked at the door, it was empty and slightly old. There is a semi-circular pond in front of the pavilion, which is called "Tianyi Pond". There are rockery, pavilions and ancient trees. This small courtyard, a slightly old building, has survived for more than 400 years, and seems to be exuding a scent of writing. It was built for collecting cultural classics, and now it has become a culture in itself. It is said in the materials that the name of Tianyi Pavilion is taken from the meaning of "Tianyishengshui". It is true that water is used to protect books. However, I also think that the collection of books and writings is also a part of "Oneness of Heaven and Man". The Fan family's contribution to protecting and collecting Chinese cultural classics is rare in the world. Can be called "Tianyi."
In the words of the couplets on the back of the gate of Tianyi Pavilion, it was: Jiange read 400 years ago, and the first one in the collection.
Poetry with feelings:
Autumn came to visit the book city.
The garden is quiet and the courtyard is deep.
Feel the sages, pass on my civilization.
Today's people follow, and cultural renaissance.
The beauty of the vicissitudes of the loft is extremely beautiful.
The style of the book is all in Tianyi.
