Located at the Pingqiao intersection on the west side of Zhenming Road, Haishu District, Ningbo. To the north of it is the Drum Tower,
To the south is Moon Lake.
The Shui Zebei was built during the Song Baoyou period (1253 ~ 1258), and was repaired in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Now most of the stone pavilion buildings were built during the Qing Dynasty.
In 1999, after rebuilding, the Pingqiao River was restored to communicate with the Moon Lake system.
Shui Zebei uses the principle of Pingshui to achieve the purpose of realizing the unified monitoring of disasters and the dispatch of people's conditions. It is the only example of ancient water conservancy in cities in China. It is a rare physical example of studying the history of water conservancy development and studying the urban drainage and flood prevention projects, which has special significance.
